This pattern comes in printed format, beautifully presented in an A4 booklet.

Designed by Vera Marcu, the Tulipani Cowl is worked in the round from just one skein of luxurious 4ply merino fingering weight yarn, the cowl drapes and folds elegantly around the neck.

The bottom edge is worked in a simple 2/2 rib and the tulip shaped cable pattern is combined with simple lace, developing into staggered columns that repeat three times before returning to the 2/2 rib top edge.

Finished Measurements:

Rib:67cm circumference.
Tulip pattern: 72cm circumference.
Garment height: 26cm

Yarn: Approximately400 metres / 437 yards per 100 grams of a 4ply (fingering weight) yarn.

Gauge:
25 stitches & 40 rounds = 10cm (4) in 2/2 rib.
29 stitches & 40 rounds = 10cm (4) in Tulip cable motif.
