In Uruguayan Spanish, Mecha means single ply, and in yarn language, Malabrigo means amazing, hehe! Knitting and crocheting with Malabrigo Mecha’s 130 yards of ultra-soft, sumptuous strings makes us want to sing! The single-ply nature lends itself to be used in felting projects, so while this yarn is machine-washable, we recommend hand-washing unless you’re into the felted look, of course!
