Gudrun Johnston is always inspired by the wide array of hues seen around Shetland and these shades of color are exactly what inspired her knit beanie for 2017 Wool Week! From the blues of the seam the mossy greens and browns of the hillsides and the bright pops of wildflowers and heather in the summer there is so much color to take in around these islands. This slouchy style hat uses three colors of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift to create this simple Fair Isle hat pattern.
